Manus McGuire is an acclaimed Irish fiddle player whose exc eptional musical gift became widely recognised in 1970\, when he won the p restigious Fiddler of Dooney national fiddle competition at just fourteen years old.

\n

Since then he has recorded sixteen albums\, inclu ding four with Buttons and Bows\, two with Moving Cloud\, three with Brock McGuire Band\, one with Shetland group Full Tilt\, one with Irish/Japanes e collaboration East West Fiddles\, and two with his brother\, fiddler Sea mus McGuire — alongside three solo records: Saffron and Blue\, Fiddlewings\, and The Copperplate Sessions.

\n

He continues to perform and teach at the highest level\, most recently tou ring Quebec and Ontario\, Australia\, and New Zealand\, and appearing at t he 50th Auckland Folk Festival. He is now also a founding member of Secret Sauce\, exploring the shared roots of Irish and Québécoi s folk music\, and lends his support to TuneFest Dungarvan and Deise Abú closer to home.

Manus McGuire is an acclaimed Irish fiddle player whose exc eptional musical gift became widely recognised in 1970\, when he won the p restigious Fiddler of Dooney national fiddle competition at just fourteen years old.

\n

Since then he has recorded sixteen albums\, inclu ding four with Buttons and Bows\, two with Moving Cloud\, three with Brock McGuire Band\, one with Shetland group Full Tilt\, one with Irish/Japanes e collaboration East West Fiddles\, and two with his brother\, fiddler Sea mus McGuire — alongside three solo records: Saffron and Blue\, Fiddlewings\, and The Copperplate Sessions.

\n

He continues to perform and teach at the highest level\, most recently tou ring Quebec and Ontario\, Australia\, and New Zealand\, and appearing at t he 50th Auckland Folk Festival. He is now also a founding member of Secret Sauce\, exploring the shared roots of Irish and Québécoi s folk music\, and lends his support to TuneFest Dungarvan and Deise Abú closer to home.

Manus McGuire is an acclaimed Irish fiddle player whose exc eptional musical gift became widely recognised in 1970\, when he won the p restigious Fiddler of Dooney national fiddle competition at just fourteen years old.

Since then he has recorded sixteen albums\, inclu ding four with Buttons and Bows\, two with Moving Cloud\, three with Brock McGuire Band\, one with Shetland group Full Tilt\, one with Irish/Japanes e collaboration East West Fiddles\, and two with his brother\, fiddler Sea mus McGuire — alongside three solo records: Saffron and Blue\, Fiddlewings\, and The Copperplate Sessions.

\n

He continues to perform and teach at the highest level\, most recently tou ring Quebec and Ontario\, Australia\, and New Zealand\, and appearing at t he 50th Auckland Folk Festival. He is now also a founding member of Secret Sauce\, exploring the shared roots of Irish and Québécoi s folk music\, and lends his support to TuneFest Dungarvan and Deise Abú closer to home.
